It’s snowing… December 5, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — sammmxxo @ 4:46 pm

… on the WordPress dashboard, at least.

Unfortunately the snow has decided this year that, no, it doesn’t like us, so it’s not going to appear at any time throughout December when we would very much like snow days. Thanks.

I do hope there’s some snow for Christmas, though, because it just won’t be Christmas without it. Anyone else finding it hard to get into the Christmas spirit with this severe lack of white, fluffy stuff? I know I am.

Anywho, I was forced to write my Christmas list this morning because apparently people ‘want to know what we can get you’, so there you are. I hope you enjoy my Sandy Kennedy wishlist, people.

Speaking of Sandy Kennedy (or that Andrew Williams fellow, for that matter), who likes drawing on him (them)?

Some people say it isn’t nice, but honestly, they’re just setting themselves up for doodle-mustaches and little devil horns. I mean, really. Come on.

I do appreciate, though, the fact that they know when you’re going to be running low on the other’s papers, so you get a new one dropped in your mailbox. ♥

Thank you Sandy Kennedy and Andrew Williams (and whoever else sends out notepads that I obviously don’t get).

Happy Saturday and all that junk.

laala-la-la-la-laaaaaaaaaa! December 2, 2009

WordPress suddenly strikes me as terribly unfriendly. D:

*eyes Blogger.com with a hint of madness*

… but WordPress is so much more customizeable. Man, it’s either one thing or another- friendliness or customizeability. Quoting Woods, “Is it always and? Is it never or?

My camera just fell off the shelf and bounced off the floor. Nice. It’s in a case.

Hmm… November 27, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — sammmxxo @ 1:30 am

You know, company is all fine and dandy until they actually get here. It’s exciting waiting for them to come, but then after they’re through the door and seated, it’s just kind of boring.

It used to be alright when I was a little kid, because I’d just go off and do whatever. Now, though, I feel obligated to stay and put up with adultly chat habits instead of sitting on my computer (yet we must face the fact that computers are not all they’re cracked up to be. That may or may not have made sense with the preceding sentence).

I think as you get older, too, relatives/companypeeps’ like for you tends to start to disappear. When you’re little, you’re adorable and fluffy, but when you get older, you’re just kind of there, and apparently that’s annoying.

Anywho… Bottom line here is that I’m really bored. Somebody please entertain me before I go insane.

Mind, I could be watching the second act of ‘Sunday in the Park With George’, but… well it’s too late for that now.

Or, you know, working on my NaNoWriMo story, but… Nah.

construction woes November 18, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — sammmxxo @ 11:41 pm

Seriously, what is it with all the construction around here lately? It seems like there isn’t any one place that you can go where you’re not going to get caught in a line of traffic caused by construction delays.

And it’s not even that they’re actually doing any construction. The lanes remain blocked off even when there isn’t any working going on- tell me, what purpose does that serve?

Anyway, I suppose I shouldn’t complain. After all, I’m not the one that has to go out and actually do the construction. That’s nice.

That was such a pointless post. I apologize to my one reader.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooooowww!

Alright, I really have nothing to say today except that Drama is not looking up.

Well then… November 8, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — sammmxxo @ 12:23 am

As Steph plainly pointed out, I have but three blog posts. This is FAIL worthy, but not as FAIL worthy as DRAMA CLASS.

If I had smiley emoticons to use, let me tell you, I wouldn’t be using them. I don’t think any emoticon can truly capture the hatred I’ve been feeling towards Drama class lately. I won’t go into a lot of detail because I’m really not in a typing mood (sorry, NaNoWriMo). Maybe later… or, you know, never.

MEOW.

So my farm on FarmVille is being very happy- my animals have actually been moving today! It’s so exciting! :D

I kind of wish I’d gone down to MAPAS tonight for their second Coffee House, but mum wasn’t feeling well all day and dad went out to get pizza. It started 21 minutes ago. Let’s not dwell on that.

I’m wicked bored- have been all day. The only thing I’ve accomplished today is getting through more of my book (‘The Hollow’ by Jessica Verday- go read it), and that’s not much to be proud of. I’m still in my pajamas. From this morning. That’s lame. I feel dirty.

I’m going to watch ‘Elf’ later- it’s November and it is therefore ok to start watching Christmas movies.

I want hot chocolate.

Sorry that post was so dis

jointed.

The Rice is Cooking October 20, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — sammmxxo @ 9:09 pm

The rice is cooking and it smells delightfully delightful. I also can’t seem to use the shift key today, because the first two letters end up capitalized instead of just the first.

Something creepy about swine flu or something in ice cream. What the shit is this, anyway? It ticks me off severely when people get all hyped up over stuff for a little while and then it just kind of dies out. SO many things that they considered ‘pandemics’ that ended up fading away after just a short while. West Nile, anyone? How about Mad Cow Disease? I’m seriously thinking that the news people just need things to talk about, and they’re milking the whole swine thing as much as they can.

Anyway, I’m not on here to rant: I should be doing my Science homework, but who really wants to do that?

Thanksgiving and General Thoughts October 14, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — sammmxxo @ 8:39 pm

Hola!

I missed a couple days there (and felt rather determined today to get back into my ‘routine’… though one could hardly call it that) because we went to my cousins’ house for Thanksgiving. I literally went into the woods, no joke. I love their house- it’s completely fabulous. They live in kind of the middle of nowhere and are surrounded by acres of land and trees… it’s just AWESOME! We didn’t get a ‘walk in the woods’ in this time because it was frightfully chilly outside (unfortunately it seems our winter is fast-approaching, and it’s not even mid-October yet)! However, my cousin and I watched Into the Woods (ee!) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (ee! again!) and as a result I have discovered that I absolutely NEED to marry Willy Wonka. I just desired to marry Mandy Patinkin- marrying Mr. Wonka is something I need to do. Wish me luck!

The car ride there was horrendously long, given the epic amounts of traffic and the likes. It took us two hours to get to Pickering! That doesn’t seem like such a long time, but when you usually average (give or take) forty-five minutes, it goes without saying that none of us were expecting to be delayed that long. I think we ended up getting there at around nine that evening. Being stupid, when I took my school bag and books from the car to the house I popped my iPod in along with them. Needless to say, of course, I went and forgot it, so here I was, on the road for seven-or-so hours with no entertainment. That’s a lie, actually, because I had my laptop and my portable DVD player, but I didn’t feel like doing anything with them. Ugh. Anyway, mum and dad were kind enough to tolerate listening to Sirius XM on Broadway, and for once I got to hear the live show LIVE. Kerry Butler and some other man from Rock of Ages were there talking to Seth, and there was another lady that I really liked, but I can’t for the life of me remember her name.

Anyway, that covers the ride there. The ride back wasn’t as long, and I slept most of the way, but when I did wake up I managed to get another chapter of my Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (by the way, I really need to watch that tonight) fanfic, ‘The Assassination of Willy Wonka’ (which I’ll link at the end of the post along with another fanfic that I absolutely adore). Lovely, me writing a story about the assassination of the man I’m going to marry, no? I also contemplated writing up a blog post, but that idea ran away quickly when I realized that I had no internet connection in the middle of the highway. Actually, I think I got a connection with Honda’s network at one point, haha!

Yesterday was boring. That’s all you need to know.

Today was… also boring, actually. Well, there’s a lot of stuff I could talk about I’m sure (HOLY SHIT MY DOG DOES NOT LISTEN) I could talk about, but I’m too lazy to type it all out. :P I’m installing the ‘latest version’ of MSN. Whatever.

As promised, links:
The Assassination of Willy Wonka (My fanfic of awesome- hahahaaa)
My FanFiction.net Profile (Quite obviously my profile)
Dark Chocolate (The amazing fanfic of DOOM that I would love to see continued and in which I picture myself as the main character, haha!)

Rubbing Alcohol and Bill Nye October 7, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — sammmxxo @ 2:16 am

As you can tell from the title, today was not a terribly interesting day.

The teacher thought it might be fun to experiment on my arm, so he had me open a bottle of rubbing alcohol which he then POURED ON MY ARM to see if it would BUBBLE. THANKS. Only after did he ask if it was ok. What a strange, strange man…
Just before this, we watched BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY and it was AWESOME. The rock episode where everything has major redundancy issues.

Other than that, I actually did… well, nothing today. I went to work a little later than I usually do, only to find out that there was nothing for me to do, so I just kind of hung out the whole night. :P

… yay! No comments on the other entry, though. *is saddened* :(

Welcome, I guess! October 5, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — sammmxxo @ 11:59 pm

Needless to say I was completely inspired in finding Brittany’s tumblr last night, and I decided that it has been far too long since I last had a blog! I think the last time I truly blogged was in grade eight. Fun times…. *rolls eyes*

I just finished writing up two ‘about’ pages (click on the ‘about’ tab at the top; there are two subpages), so I really have nothing to say here. I’ll try and find some useless information to post. :P

I’m hoping people might read this… that’d be nice for a change- it’ll make me feel special and loved and partially famous. And I promise to update, unlike SOME people I know… *cough*PATTILUPONE*cough*
