Hola!
I missed a couple days there (and felt rather determined today to get back into my ‘routine’… though one could hardly call it that) because we went to my cousins’ house for Thanksgiving. I literally went into the woods, no joke. I love their house- it’s completely fabulous. They live in kind of the middle of nowhere and are surrounded by acres of land and trees… it’s just AWESOME! We didn’t get a ‘walk in the woods’ in this time because it was frightfully chilly outside (unfortunately it seems our winter is fast-approaching, and it’s not even mid-October yet)! However, my cousin and I watched Into the Woods (ee!) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (ee! again!) and as a result I have discovered that I absolutely NEED to marry Willy Wonka. I just desired to marry Mandy Patinkin- marrying Mr. Wonka is something I need to do. Wish me luck!
The car ride there was horrendously long, given the epic amounts of traffic and the likes. It took us two hours to get to Pickering! That doesn’t seem like such a long time, but when you usually average (give or take) forty-five minutes, it goes without saying that none of us were expecting to be delayed that long. I think we ended up getting there at around nine that evening. Being stupid, when I took my school bag and books from the car to the house I popped my iPod in along with them. Needless to say, of course, I went and forgot it, so here I was, on the road for seven-or-so hours with no entertainment. That’s a lie, actually, because I had my laptop and my portable DVD player, but I didn’t feel like doing anything with them. Ugh. Anyway, mum and dad were kind enough to tolerate listening to Sirius XM on Broadway, and for once I got to hear the live show LIVE. Kerry Butler and some other man from Rock of Ages were there talking to Seth, and there was another lady that I really liked, but I can’t for the life of me remember her name.
Anyway, that covers the ride there. The ride back wasn’t as long, and I slept most of the way, but when I did wake up I managed to get another chapter of my Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (by the way, I really need to watch that tonight) fanfic, ‘The Assassination of Willy Wonka’ (which I’ll link at the end of the post along with another fanfic that I absolutely adore). Lovely, me writing a story about the assassination of the man I’m going to marry, no? I also contemplated writing up a blog post, but that idea ran away quickly when I realized that I had no internet connection in the middle of the highway. Actually, I think I got a connection with Honda’s network at one point, haha!
Yesterday was boring. That’s all you need to know.
Today was… also boring, actually. Well, there’s a lot of stuff I could talk about I’m sure (HOLY SHIT MY DOG DOES NOT LISTEN) I could talk about, but I’m too lazy to type it all out.
I’m installing the ‘latest version’ of MSN. Whatever.
